About
The vision of this course is to understand and make connections to NHA’s values and beliefs. As a result of this course, leaders will be able to articulate the vision of NHA to various stakeholders and have foundational knowledge about NHA.
This course relates to the dean development rubric key practice #6: Deans promote, model, and reinforce all NHA and school procedures (e.g. SBS, BWC, and Moral Focus)
Course Outcomes
- Understand NHA’s Vision, and Purpose.
- Make connections between your own purpose and vision to that of NHAs.
- Understand what a charter school is and the role of the charter authorizer, school board, and our NHA management company.
- Understand the Behave with Care philosophy.
- Unpack what it means to have a Behave with Care Mindset and compare that to your current mindset and mindset of your staff.
- Identify the four essential pillars of NHA.
